Bradenton, Fla. (November 5, 2025) – This past month, Life Surge employees have been rolling up their sleeves to make a tangible difference in the community, volunteering with Feeding Empty Little Tummies (F.E.L.T.). This local nonprofit provides weekend meals to homeless and food-insecure students in Manatee County through its backpack program.

Throughout October, Life Surge team members have spent Friday mornings at the F.E.L.T. warehouse filling backpacks with nutritious, kid-friendly meals for children living in shelters, motels, or temporary housing.

In addition to volunteering, Life Surge placed a F.E.L.T. donation barrel in the company lobby, collecting much-needed items such as tuna packets, mac and cheese cups, fruit cups, and granola bars—all designed for children who may have to prepare their own meals on weekends.

“Serving with F.E.L.T. gave our team a firsthand look at the real needs facing families right here in our community,” said Nina Cherry, Vice President of People of Life Surge. “It’s a privilege to partner with an organization making such a practical and powerful impact.”
