Jeff Foxworthy
Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, and best-selling author of more than 26 books. In 2014, he was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature, a style that has been compared to Mark Twain’s.
Jeff and Larry the Cable Guy were recently on tour with the “We’ve Been Thinking Tour,” sponsored by RFD-TV, which featured all new material. The live show was filmed as a comedy special in the spring of 2016 and is available on Netflix. Jeff also has his own comedy channel, “Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup,” on SIRIUSXM, showcasing great American comedy from himself, Larry the Cable Guy, and some of their favorite comedians.
Jeff hosted the FOX television game show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? for several seasons, including its return to prime time. He also hosted three seasons of The American Bible Challenge for GSN, had an animated series (Bounty Hunters) on CMT, hosted The American Baking Competition for CBS, and narrated the Lifetime reality show The Week the Women Left.
Jeff executive produced and starred in Foxworthy’s Big Night Out and created the television series Blue Collar TV for the WB network. Blue Collar TV followed the success of Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie and its sequels, which have collectively sold millions of units and earned record-breaking ratings on Comedy Central.
In addition to his television and film success, Jeff has released multiple New York Times bestselling books, including The Redneck Dictionary series, How to Really Stink at Golf, How to Really Stink at Work, and children’s books like Dirt on My Shirt, Silly Street, and Hide!!!, which won a Mom’s Choice Award.
Jeff has voiced characters in several animated films, including Handy Smurf in The Smurfs and Smurfs 2, Reggie the Rooster in Racing Stripes, Lyle in Fox and the Hound II, and Lindberg in The Aviators.
Jeff’s final solo comedy album, Have Your Loved Ones Spayed or Neutered, debuted at number one on the Billboard Comedy Charts. His syndicated radio show, The Foxworthy Countdown, ran for 10 years and was carried in over 220 markets across the U.S., earning him a CMA nomination for Broadcast Personality of the Year.
Jeff also started Foxworthy Outdoors, offering products related to outdoor living. His calendars, food products like “Grit Chips,” and You Might Be a Redneck If… slot machines in Nevada casinos further showcase his wide-ranging success.
