Over an 11-season NFL career, Foles played for six teams but achieved his greatest success with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he led the franchise to its first-ever Super Bowl title in 2018. In that historic Super Bowl LII victory, Foles threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns, and became the first player in Super Bowl history to both throw and catch a touchdown pass in the same game - a play forever remembered as the "Philly Special." His performance earned him Super Bowl MVP honors and the ESPY Award for Best Championship Performance.

Foles’ football journey began at the University of Arizona, where he was a standout quarterback before being drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He had a breakout season in 2013, setting the NFL record for best touchdown-to-interception ratio (27:2) and tying the league record with seven touchdown passes in a single game. That year, he led the Eagles to a division title, was named to the Pro Bowl, and received the "NFL Greatness on the Road" award for his perfect game against the Oakland Raiders.

Throughout his career, Foles was known for his poise under pressure, particularly in the playoffs. In the 2017 postseason, he completed 82% of his passes in the second halves of the Eagles’ three playoff victories, with a 134.7 passer rating after halftime-a testament to his clutch performance. Foles also set a team record for most consecutive passes without an interception and was pivotal in multiple playoff runs for Philadelphia.
